Melbourne Storm chief executive Dave Donaghy has resigned from the role, further fuelling rumours he could be joining the Brisbane Broncos.
The Storm informed staff of Donaghy’s decision on Thursday. He has held the role since June 2015 when Mark Evans resigned.
Donaghy has been connected with the chief executive role at the Broncos for several weeks and he previously has worked in Brisbane with AFL club the Brisbane Lions.
The Storm are expected to say more on the chief executive role later on Thursday.
